Masters degree in surgery (MCh), following 2 year Fellowship in laser techniques in head and neck surgery at Laser Centre, Dept of Surgery, University College London. Senior Registrar in ENT, Royal Free Hospital and Royal Surrey County Hospital, 1993-1996. FRCS(ORL) November 1995. Awarded FRCSEd April 1999.

Consultant Otolaryngologist / Head & Neck Surgeon, Royal Infirmary Edinburgh and Honorary Senior Lecturer, University of Edinburgh, 1996-2001. Fellowship examiner RCSEd. Consultant appointment Charing Cross/Chelsea & Westminster Hospitals, June 2001.

Special interests include endoscopic sinus surgery, rhinoplasty, head & neck surgery, paediatric ENT surgery.
