Treatment of premature ejaculation

Therapy can be helpful in treating premature ejaculation. Special techniques can be learnt to try and control ejaculation.

Some people find that a local anaesthetic spray can help reduce the sensitivity of the penis.

If neither of these techniques work, then medication can be used. Drugs such as paroxetine and sertraline have been shown to be of benefit.
